Gambling Possibilities Popping Up in US States.
Pennsylvania has been paving the way for land based casinos across the United States. Since Pennsylvania has opened up their casinos they are not only drawing from Atlantic City casinos and all of their gambling revenue, they are also inspiring more states to get on board and begin creating your own revenue through casino gambling.
Although many people are looking towards the Pennsylvania casinos as a way to generate more revenue throughout their state, there are many trade-offs that have occurred in order for them to be able to bring gambling to their state. One of the downfalls of having a casino in that state is the agreement to a 16% tax on gambling revenue once your license within that state. The benefit of doing this is to gamble to stay in hopes of acquiring table games such as the casinos have accomplished within the state.
Many cities such as Atlantic City are being hit by the newly created casinos in neighboring states and have frown upon further expansion throughout the country. At this time it doesn’t appear as though there is a big threat throughout the country due to the fact that the economy has caused a large hole in terms expansion that people are not finding the money to fill at this time.
